new GCSE style photo card - Healthy Living - German

new GCSE style photo card - Healthy Living - German

In this file there are 5 photo cards on Healthy Living, based on the new AQA German GCSE. These could be used as a speaking assessment or revision between pupils. Each page has a teacher and a student version of the photo card on it. The student version only shows the first three questions and the teacher one has an additional two. The first question on each photo card prompts the student to describe the photo, and there is always one question where the student has to give an opinion. Furthermore, there is also always at least one question in another tense. I am also selling photo card resources on other topics.

Mirror Vocab - Health

Mirror Vocab - Health

A vocab learning activity using health vocab based on a popular technique called mirroring. Students read 3 items at a time to their partner with definitions and repeat twice. Mixing up the order of words is effective. The partner repeats back parrot-fashion. After 8 mins or so, swap roles. Do a vocab test at the end and see the results!

Healthy Living Writing/ Speaking practice GCSE

Healthy Living Writing/ Speaking practice GCSE

Writing and Speaking practice for the new GCSE (based on the AQA scheme of work), can be used across any language (in my school we use it for German, French and Spanish). I use this at the end of a module for students to recap and add it to their file for future reference. It prepares them for writing assessments and the general conversation part of the speaking assessment. There are 8 questions for students to answer on the topic HEALTHY LIVING. I have also included a generic checklist for students to use, to make sure they are using tenses, opinions, justification etc. as well as a blank checklist for teachers/ students to add language specifics/ extra criteria for higher target grades. I am also selling similar placemats for other topics.

Verbs worksheet & translation - Food / Essen

Verbs worksheet & translation - Food / Essen

A worksheet for students to practise common regular and irregular verbs in the context of eating and drinking. Includes a challenging translation into English for extension work and a vocab list at the end. I think I made this when I was teaching a top set Year 8 using Stimmt 2 last year, so it may be of use for those of you teaching alongside that. (suitable for cover work)
