Brown Bear Colour Story Cards

Brown Bear Colour Story Cards

Story Cards inspired by “Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?” by Bill Martin Jr & Eric Carle for ages 18 months + Story Cards are a great resource to inspire children to be creative, imaginative and spark a love of story telling! This pack includes 11 story cards based on Bill Martin Jr & Eric Carle’s “Brown Bear”. Part of my designs include back of card printed images themed to the game. This feature is optional to print but makes your resources unique. Story cards have been designed for little learners to easily hold and interact with the cards. I recommend printing this resource on thick card or laminate to allow multiple uses. This resource will help promote: story telling, sequencing, use of language, communication, imagination, creativity, memory recall and colour recognition. Please ensure young children are supervised with small objects. Enjoy & spark play! Like my work? Follow me on facebook at Spark Play Australia

Characters and Setting Assessment

Characters and Setting Assessment

This 12 question assessment covers students understanding of setting and characters. There are three separate parts to this assessment that can easily be used for a quiz, test, homework, study guide, independent work or small group work. It starts off with asking for the simple definitions of each key word. It then transitions to written scenarios where students identify the implied or directly stated character(s) and setting and finishes off with two pictures that student analyze for the setting and character. This simple assessment will offer the teacher valuable insight into students' understanding of what a setting is and what the characters are.
