This resource contains a collection of four FREE anti-bullying quote posters. All posters include copyright free images from www.pexels.com. I initially created our school for our school’s pink shirt day. Each day we posted a different poster in the school announcements leading up to our school’s Pink Shirt Day activities to promote messages of kindness. Revision advice booklet

Revision advice booklet

A booklet aimed at Y11 but appropriate to students in any key stage that discusses what makes effective revision and why. (I have also used this with Y12 and Y13) Students are guided through a process of organising and prioritising their subjects/topics before they are introduced to the strategies that are most effective methods of revision and why (research supported) It ends with a copy of the GCSE Edexcel Psychology specification for students to use to RAG rate and create their priority list. This could quite easily be adapted for any specification of any subject.

Objective Led Weekly Planning - EYFS

Objective Led Weekly Planning - EYFS

I have worked alongside an Early Years Consultant to create my own Objective Led Weekly Planning template for use in EYFS. This is the planning system I use currently. I currently teach a mixed Nursery and Reception class, but this can also be used for pure Nursery or pure Reception. My planning template focuses on three targets for each individual child in EYFS. The idea is then to facilitate these targets through the child’s interests in the provision. For example if a child likes constructing things, but has a specific writing target, as a practitioner this target could be facilitated through encouraging the child to write about what model they’ve made and what it’s functions are. The challenge is then to facilitate this target three times per week for consolidation of learning. The planning also highlights which children need extra support, as well as showing which children are capable of exceeding. It shows their current attainment, as well as showing their individual target in the specific area of learning. It also has boxes for enhancements made in the provision, a box for adult-directed tasks for the week and an evaluation of the week’s planning box. I have used this weekly planning template for nearly 18 months. It has yielded fantastic attainment for the children I have taught. Last year’s Reception cohort achieved 100% GLD with 56% of children exceeding in at least one curriculum area. This year that is projected to be bettered with 100% and 91% children exceeding in at least one curriculum. This planning really does work! Give it a try and let me know what you think! Thank you!
