A short assembly to share with students on the dangers of Vaping. Can be easily adapted to your school and students

A Health and Safety policy for Art Departments, covering a wide range of materials and creative processes. Fully editable.

This is a 15-20 minute assembly, PSHE or tutor time session covering what the Prevent strategy is. It includes some videos and discussion points around Prevent and information about how to spot signs of radicalisation. This was originally delivered to KS3 and KS4 but could also be suitable for KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13). There are no written tasks in this presentation, it is an overview of these topics in line with the PSHE and Citizenship curriculum, SMSC and Fundamental British Values. It could also be used in an assembly or whole school setting as a quick reminder of Prevent and Radicalisation. It can be lengthened or shortened depending on the timing of the session. The videos are downloaded so will never disappear. Students reacted well to this session and some important and interesting discussions were had.

It is another great way of getting children to use synonyms for words such as ‘happy’ or ‘sad’. There are seven characters available - can either peg children’s names on or put them in a jar etc.
