Thanks for stopping by my shop. I am an experienced chartered primary teacher who has taught predominantly in Scotland. I have also taught in England, Australia and in the Middle East. I have produced a range of quality resources that provide depth and breadth. These resources should enhance the learning experience of pupils. There are many opportunities for active learning as well as structured tasks that consolidate and reinforce knowledge and application. Enjoy!

This pack of resources includes : a colourful presentation which introduces 'Forces and Movement' facts that are deliberately kept simple to encourage children to recall and remember simple engaging tasks that include drawing, sorting , reading, speaking and listening with some practical tasks The main aim is to foster an understanding at an early level of simple forces and movement. I have included a duplicate presentation in printer friendly format to save printing costs. The booklet provided is an engaging activity to reinforce some basic facts about movement and forces. I have provided a presentation with a variety of toys that are ideal for displayas well as group activities. The pictures can be categorised/ sorted under the headings - PUSH, PULL or BOTH. I have also included some online links within the presentation . The 1st link is for a 'pushes and pull' song ideally performed with simple actions. The 2nd link provides an engaging link which further explains simple forces. These resources have been used to great effect with my learners as an introduction to the science unit at Key Stage 1 and also Curriculum for Excellence -Early into First Level ( Scotland). I have uploaded several word documents to show other teachers a more comprehensive view of the resource pack. Hope you enjoy using them with your young scientists.
