Students coloring activities about adding and subtracting decimals plus exit ticket. Level of Difficulty: Beginner (Easy) Grades: 3rd to 7th Outcomes: Students practice to add and subtract decimals (1 decimal place). Prior Knowledge: Students should have already studied decimal place values. Teaching Idea: Students work individually to complete the activities then their friend will check their work (if possible) or they work in pair to complete the activities. The other pair will check their work. After completing the tasks, they glue the pages on their book. (Estimation time: 10 to 15 minutes for each activity) At the end of the lesson, teacher uses the exit ticket as a quiz to check students’ understanding. Teacher places all the completed exit tickets in the exit ticket album. Materials and equipment: The activities for each student Scissors and glue coloring pencils Exit Tickets
