It introduces the poem to the children in an accessible way and then encourages short and longer writing opportunities. All fit to the 2014 curriculum and Year 2/Year 6 writing exemplifications 2016. They have been colour coded for the different sections of English as follows (although some may fall into two categories): Yellow – Spelling Green – Handwriting Orange – Composition Blue – Grammar and Punctuation Purple – Reading You can print these directly onto labels (21 per sheet) and then they can be easily stuck into books/reading records etc.
