Resultant force lesson which can be used in KS3 and GCSE I have differentiated the lesson for low, medium and higher students and SEN students. The lesson contains : 1a. starter -Multiple choice to establish what students know and do not know. 1.b Lesson powerpoint to review force diagrams with exam questions 2. Circus activity - where students calculate resultant force and have to use correct terms to describe motion 3. markscheme of circus for teacher to review learning - mini plenary 4. This lesson allows students to learn about technology to look into space. The lesson can open with discussion on ways to look into space, followed by images taken by Hubble ( not created by me). You can also ask students to share their ideas about stars and need to observe space. Students can then be introduced to two types of telescopes ( briefly). Students can then move around the room and collect information to complete their table from the fact sheets on different technologies used to look into space. The lesson can end with extended writing on comparing Land based and spaced based technologies to look into space. I have updated the information sheets and formatted them. I will update the powerpoint shortly as well.

Students also need to be able to state factors that affect speed of sound, speed of wind, speed of a person walking, cycling and running. Futhermore, students need to be able to know speed of sound and what Mach speed means and how to convert mach speed into m/s.
