AQA A-Level Business Formulae Revision

Simple revison resource to allow students to review the key formulae and key data required for the new specification AQA Business A-Level examinations. Ready to print resource which you could either distribute to students as a revision activity or use in class. They could also be quickly cut into strips & treasury tagged to make a great set of flash cards. The worksheets requires students to complete the missing information for each of the formula given. Then students should aim to add small comment on how to interpret the answer and how a business may improve the figure (if relevant). With no formulae provided for the exams and a minimum 10% quantitative requirement for the exams it is essential students have an active knowledge of how to calculate and interpret information confidently. I hope that you and your students find this resource useful. AQA GCSE Business Revision Flash Cards

(0)
A really useful revision resource that should enable you to cover a lot of content in a short space of time. This download contains both a PDF and editable PPT version of a set of over 60 revision flash cards for Unit 1 & Unit2 AQA GCSE Business. Each card/slide has a topic title and a series of questions/prompts underneath. This makes for a brilliant couple of options for some revision activities: Speed Date Revision - Print out the cards for either unit 1 or 2 and issue each student a card. You may wish to give your more able students a couple of topics to look at. Then allow students a set amount of time to make notes on their cards before beginning a speed date scenario where students move from person to person explaining their card. Pass The Flashcard - Print out the cards for either unit 1 or 2 and issue each student a card. Then start a timer which allows students one minute to try and add something to the card. Once the time is up then students pass the card to the next person. This again allows for quick absorption of knowledge of many different topics. Random Numbers Revision - Once either of the above tasks are complete you could have a simple plenary of selecting a random number in the group and asking that student who has the card to test the rest of the class on their questions. All student led activities & all great for getting maximum exposure to knowledge in a short amount of time. You may also edit the resources if you would like to change the questioning or topics - I would advise to print to A3 to maximise the space.
