GCSE History Superpower Relations and the Cold War Timeline for Revision

(0)
A Cold War time line. Students have to make short notes on each event-two consequences and three reasons why each event is important. There are also some events which students have to plan narrative answers to. The idea is that students make very short notes and this will encourage students to start thinking about why each event is important and the consequences of each event. This should help students to start thinking about planning answers to the different questions styles. There is a page for each of the three key topics included and ideally each page would be blown up to A3.

This PowerPoint has a summary slide on each of the themes. There are then example questions. For each question there is either a plan or an actual answer for students to consider. I am going to get my students to plan answers to each question and then look at my plan/essay as final revision over the coming weeks. Some of the essays I use in this PowerPoint I have charged for elsewhere so this is not all new content. There are over 70 slides and new essay plans, however.
