I have created and used many different resources for subjects including Art and Design, Textiles, Resistant Materials, Product Design, Engineering, Graphics, Food Technology, History, Maths ICT and Media. This lesson allows students to complete a small amount of research and a draft specification so they can move on to the deeper planning required in unit 2. AQA Fashion and Textiles Unit 1 Joining Fabrics Learning Mats, Covering, plain seams, french seams, flat felled seams and over locked seams. I used these mats to lace on the tables when ting a seam sampling workshop. Student then added the seam samples to their skill evidence page, and used the information on the learning mats to add notes to their samples.

New AQA Visual Communications Technical Award Unit 1 Student Template my students struggled to set out the pages for the unit 1 coursework until i made this very simple layout. I just ask the students to add their own logo and boarder. Then they just add in the work to the relevant skill page. This may seem simple but is saved me a lot of time in getting students to create 8 pages for the 8 skills.
