An Anti-bullying assembly which follows the story of Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley from Harry Potter) and how he was the target of bullying as he grew up and how he dealt with this. The assembly doesn’t just focus on the obvious reasons why bullying is wrong, but also some less obvious reasons which students might not have thought of before, to create more of an impact. The second half of the assembly focuses on respect - looking at what respect means in practice before ending with some helpful takeaway tips. The assembly will last around 15-20 minutes if clip is watched (3 mins) and suggested questions are asked too. Everything is editable. Autism Awareness Assembly. An assembly all about ASD, what it is, some statistics and facts addressing misconceptions and celebrating the successes of famous people on the autistic spectrum. It lasts around 15-20 mins (inc clip). It includes animations, an option of two different 4 minute clips (one for KS3 and one for KS4/5), statistics, and a little humour. This is really easy to just pick up and use and is intended to help all students embrace and celebrate diversity. Fully editable too.
