After feedback on previous uploads I have created a series of PowerPoint based lessons for unit four of the OCR (new) Religion, philosophy and ethics in the modern world (J625/06–10) exam. This is lesson one which focusses on Britain as a religious country. This unit was planned using 'Religious Studies by Lorraine Abbott with Steve Clarke' and contains information taken from this textbook and activities based around it. My school does not have a class set of this book and as such it is not necessary for teaching these lessons.

EDIT: There was an issue accessing the folders for this resource so I have included all the files separately as well as the zipped folders to address this issue. A complete unit of work for the new OCR Religion, Philosophy and Ethics GCSE. This is the Religion, philosophy and ethics in the modern world (J625/06–10) section, from a Christian perspective, considering the theme 'The Existence of God'. This unit should take a minimum of 15 lessons, however I have found when teaching this that some lessons roll over into two lessons. I have also included an outline of this section of the specification. This unit was planned using 'Religious Studies by Lorraine Abbott with Steve Clarke' and contains information taken from this textbook and activities based around it. My school does not have a class set of this book and as such it is not necessary for teaching these lessons.

Ancient Religion unit - Greek section with resources and plans

As part of the ancient religions section of work at KS3, this Greek section covers beliefs about creation, Gods and Goddesses and beliefs about the afterlife over the space of two/three lessons. As well as a question sheet to go with the film 'Clash of the Titans', a story about a Greek hero and the Gods (for lower ability I used Disney's Hercules).
