They come in three sizes:
Small - approx. 3.5 x 5 inches
Medium - approx. 5 x 7 inches

Adult colouring is very popular right now and you might enjoy colouring one yourself or with the children. They enjoy it when you sit down with them and colour and talk.

Pairs can work together to solve cards and then quiz each other.
They can be used as an enrichment or revision activity for children who finish early.
Use them with simple traditional board games, each child having to solve a card before they can take a turn.

A fun maths activity to practice symmetry by drawing and colouring these strange looking creatures.
This fun activity includes 5 creatures, each with three levels of difficulty.
Difficulty Level 1 - has the completed drawing with the line of symmetry down the middle and the children are asked to colour the creature symmetrically.
Difficulty Level 2 - has half of the creature on one side , with the other half partially drawn. The children have to complete the drawing and colour in symmetrically.
Difficulty Level 3 - has just half the creature drawn and the children need to complete and colour the other half symmetrically.
Also included are levels 2 and 3 with a grid over them to help those children who may need it to complete the symmetrical drawings.

These 30 black and white, growth mindset banner pennants are fun and need no-prep. Set 1 and set 2 have different shaped pennants and different growth mindset quotes, giving a total of 30 growth mindset quotes in all.
You can mix and match between the two sets.

In this PowerPoint lesson the children discover how to create interesting haiku using the meanings of words from their word list or spelling list.
This fun and engaging lesson will have your class using a dictionary to find the meanings of selected words; discover what a haiku is; explore how all the words we use contain syllables and then use this information to create their own haiku.
The resource includes:
A PowerPoint lesson that takes the children through the entire process.
Teachers’ Notes including a worksheet to help the children write their haiku
The resulting haiku poems the children create would make an excellent addition to a class word wall.
