2018 marked my 25th year in education. After completing my DPhil-Bath Uni. 1988 I worked in industry before moving into education in 1993 as HoD in a high performing London-based Independent school. I completed my PGCE in 1995 and went into state education in 2001 where I have worked as a science Teacher, KS3 coordinator, Head of Subject and HoD in a range of Comprehensive schools including schools placed on special measures. Working in the latter institutions provided extensive experience of preparing and delivering suitably differentiated resources to ensure academic success of pupils as well as promoting interest in learning science. I have also worked as an examiner for more than 12 years with the major exam boards (AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR) at KS3, KS4 and KS5. In 2018 I undertook online marking of the Physics Higher tier paper with EDEXCEL-Pearson. I have used my extensive experience in education and industry to publish high quality resources in the sciences.
