Hello! I'm a recent Durham University graduate and have tutored French and Music at GCSE and KS3 levels alongside my degree. Having studied French and Music at uni, I spent my year abroad teaching English as a foreign language in a French primary school which was a great challenge! I have developed and refined several fun and engaging lesson plans that I hope you will also find useful!

This powerpoint takes you through a lesson on real life French. Starting with a video on how to make crepes, there are gap fill exercises and a grammar point on imperative verbs. There is then a link to a video by French youtuber, Cyprien, and students are encouraged to have a discussion in French about what they learnt. Finally, the lesson looks at the song ‘Papaoutai’ by Stromae, working out what the lyrics mean.
