These clip cards are a great way to test students’ recognition of basic 2D and 3D shapes. The given possible answers have been carefully chosen to allow teachers to spot any misconceptions students may have about the names and spellings of shapes.
The idea of this activity is that students clip a clothespin, peg or a paperclip to what they think the correct name or spelling of the shape is. This activity works equally well when the cards are laminated. Students simply circle the correct answer using a dry erase marker. Alternatively, you can print these on paper, hand out to your class at the end of the lesson, so they can put their names on and circle the correct answer, serving as a great finishing activity to a lesson.
These cards are in colour, but print equally well in grey scale for cost savings. We have included two versions of this activity, one with shapes filled in (and in the case of the 3D shapes, designed as a solid shape) and a second with just the shapes outline, for if you are worried about ink usage (and for the 3D shapes, these are wireframes).
A great tool for multiple choice in the classroom without needing a computer.

Included in this pack is a 10 sided spinner and some player pieces. But the game also works with a 6 or 10 sided dice and plastic counters if you wish to use either of those instead.
Rules of Play
Each turn players role a dice and move that number of spaces. They then add or subtract the score they landed on to their overall score. There are 4 playboards of increasing di culty.
LEVEL ONE: Single digit addition and subtraction. If a player has to take away more than they have in score, their score remains at 0 until they add to their score.
LEVEL TWO: Double digit addion and subtraction. If a player has to take away more than they have in score, their score remains at 0 until they add to their score.
LEVEL THREE: Triple digit adding and subtracting. If a player has to take away more than they have in score, their score remains at 0 until they add to their score.
LEVEL FOUR: If you take away more than you have in score, you go into negative numbers. Negative numbers are almost certain.
Notes
If you want a more challenging game, all boards allow for negative numbers.

Galaxy Exploration is a Board Game that emulates Snakes & Ladders to help students exercise a knowledge of Number Bonds to 10 and 20. However, unlike Snakes & Ladders, we have added some other interesting elements to make a more competitive and fun game overall.
The game pack comes with 6 playable boards. Four are playable with either a 10-sided dice or the included spinner. Two are playable ONLY with a 6-sided dice just in case you need it. Of those six, half do not feature the Black Holes and Portals (Snakes and Ladders) to make a much faster game which is still great for the learning of Number Bonds.
In addition, the boards include 'Habitable Planets' and 'Gravity Slingshots', which force the player to take an extra turn, or miss a turn. A fun change from the norm!
