GCSE EDEXCEL 9-1 BUSINESS This is a very detailed resource which helps students to develop their chains of analysis. I found my students were struggling to fully develop their AO3a strands and therefore came up with this resource. It covers the whole of the Edexcel GCSE specification and the way it works is that with each ‘link’ to the topic area i have come up with a potential ‘fact’ that the case study may mention - i have then given students ‘possible things’ to think about when developing an answer with that ‘fact’ My MA students absolutely loved it! It not only helps with AO3a but there is tons of knowledge packed in the resource and I’ve made sure, where possible, to make links between different topics. Its also brilliant for scaffolding and differentiation!

Edexcel A Level Business This resource includes model essays (4, 8, 10, 12 and 20 markers) grouped according to the specification topic areas. There are 45 pages of essays, highlighting examination skills of A01, AO2, AO3 and AO4. I wanted the booklet to aid students in knowledge retention (as the body of the response has business concepts, terminologies etc.) and for it to highlight exam technique. For the reasons above, I have tried to add as much detail as possible in the essays - they are not an expectation of what is required in the actual exam Uses: Classroom DEAR time activity If a student is finding a particular topic difficult – they can find it in the booklet and read the essays on it Used as a scaffolding resource when students answering exam questions in class or at home
