Perhaps the students find it hard to make German relevant in today’s Brexit society? No fear, MFL Creativity is here with a term’s worth of cross-curricular starters. There should be enough for a whole term (excluding end of module revision and assessment lessons). There are 11-12 starters available per half term totalling 23 starters. They each have a timer for 10 minutes. They are ordered to fit with the topics covered in Stimmt 1 and cover a range of subjects the students would usually study in Year 7 in the UK. They could easily be reordered. In the notes segment of each slide, you can see the cross-curricular links and the German topic it relates to grammatically/vocabulary wise. This is also listed in the word documents that exist for each Autumn half term. A fun way for pupils to learn any vocabulary! Add your own music in the background with any timings you like on PowerPoint (already done for you, so just press start!) The music included is not part of the price and is used simply as an example. Music could be deleted off of the PowerPoint and you could play your own choice of music on YouTube in the background!
