Useful for teaching finance to KS4 or an introduction for KS5. Includes cut and stick activity as well as class discussion points and information for teacher to deliver. Students can take notes, discuss the slides before sharing. Suggested questions for discussion have been put on the slides. Includes two Quizlet revision quizzes for Topic 2 and useful for other specifications as well - Types of employment and Benefits/Other types of income.

Can easily be adapted to teach GCSE and A Level media studies lessons to introduce ways of representation. May also be useful to teach AQA GCSE Media Studies Unit 1 - TV Serial Dramas.

A project based scheme of work which has pupils investigating and researching types of videogames before designing and creating their own game concept which they can pitch to groups. The tasks include Challenge prompts and can be easily scaled up or down in terms of complexity for different year groups. Suitable for a fun and engaging KS3 or year 9 scheme of work for ICT or computing and digital media. This is excellent preparation for digital media based courses such as the OCR Creative iMedia and units such as R091 : Designing a Game Concept Pupils will need access to PowerPoint or Google Slides to complete the activities

Lesson to teach this media theory and includes examples on the form of music videos. Allows for discussion, tasks, extended writing. Uses the Close Study Products used in AQA GCSE specification for Media Studies - Arctic Monkeys I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor and One Direction History. Can also be adapted to teach theory to any specification where media theory/narrative theory/Uses and Gratifications is applicable.
