Uses the Close Study Products used in AQA GCSE specification for Media Studies - Arctic Monkeys I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor and One Direction History. Can also be adapted to teach theory to any specification where media theory/narrative theory/Uses and Gratifications is applicable.

A project based scheme of work which has pupils investigating and researching types of animation before designing and creating their own. The theme is music festival which has proven to be very popular with our pupils and can be easily scaled up or down in terms of complexity for different year groups. Suitable for a fun and engaging KS3 or year 9 scheme of work for ICT or computing and digital media. This is excellent preparation for digital media based courses such as the OCR Creative iMedia and units such as R086 : Creating a Digital Animation. Pupils will need access to animation software such as Adobe Animate/Flash
