Roman Bootcamp PE/Maths lesson

(0)
This package consists of a brief PPT and a PE/Maths activity to launch the Roman topic. Emperor Claudius has issued a call to arms and needs all able bodied soldiers to help fight in his invasion of Britain. Children complete a Roman Bootcamp in PE, record their results and then attempt the related maths activity based on their data. When I have taught this, I also then asked the class to write a persuasive letter to Emperor Claudius explaining why they should be accepted into the Roman Army.
