This download includes two pdf files. One of them illustrates the prime and composite numbers from 1 to 100. By studying the tables, students can easily have a clear idea of prime numbers and factors of composite numbers. The other file is the same as the first one except that it lacks the factors. It can be used for evaluation purposes. Each file is 15 pages long. They can be photocopied for students to study individually or laminated and used as posters. It is a well-known fact that visual representation of any information greatly enhances the learning process. Pictures speak louder than words.

This pdf file illustrates how to show factors of a number in a set and how to use sets to simplify GCD and LCM. The intersection of the sets shows GCD and the union of them shows LCM. In this way learners are able to understand the relation between prime numbers, composite numbers, factors, GCD and LCM. The first 8 pages give the examples in visual representation with their factors and the following 12 pages are of the same pattern except that they do not contain any factors. They can be used for practicing purposes. They can also be laminated and used as posters.

This material helps students grasp the relatioons between factors, lcm, gcd, addition of fractions, and square roots. The file consists of 11 pages presenting and explaining the mentioned operations for different pairs of numbers. Each page is followed by an empty one to be filled by students as a quiz. The last page can be used as a template for any pair of numbers chosen by the teacher. It also lacks the list of factors for the 50 numbers normally found in all the previous pages as a reference.
