A collection of usable resources that are suitable for literacy lessons, school libraries, guided reading and book corners. Just simply print and go.
How do I use these resources? When children have finished reading a book I ask them to reflect and evaluate what they have read. Clarify their understanding! I have used these when working with small groups but I have also allowed children to work on them independently. I have them printed off so that children can help themselves in the library and find that they like to take them home. They are a great homework resource! They have also been a tool to encourage discussion amongst students about books and characters that they love.
Students will have the opportunity to create their own characters, to describe characters, to describe settings, to review a book, to create their own storyboards and to think of problems and solutions for stories they want to create. There are questions for them to answer on books and story plans to complete.
Resource Angel are proud of this product and we hope that you will find it promotes reading within your classroom and within the school community.
