In this video we look at the the GCSE Science Biology topic of plant and animal cell structure. We first look at the differences between eukaryotes and prokaryotes, then compare the organelles and their functions in both plant and animal cells. For your GCSE exams you are also expected to be able to give the function of specialised cells including sperm cells, nerve cells, muscle cells, xylem cells, phloem cells and root hair cells. We look closely at each of these specialised cells and explain how they perform their function.
In this revision lesson we look at the lungs. We cover whats needed for GCSE biology and combined science paper 1. We cover lung structure, how the lungs are adapted for gas exchange and comparing inhaled and exhaled air.
