Flipchart includes a week of work on addition and some subtraction. Begins with mental addition and subtraction with some use of Singapore Bar method and then moving into the formal method of addition for year 3/4. Includes worksheets and reasoning challenges adapted from the White Rose Scheme of work.

Unit of work on formal method for subtraction. Works alongside my planning for addition. Includes the flipchart planning and all the worksheets for a whole week’s worth of lessons. Saves lots of time and thinking too. Also includes a mini green bubble challenge which acts as a form of assessment at the end of the week’s teaching to assess what the children have learnt and retained.
