I created this for year 7, which they could use to assess themselves for a unit of work or for a term.
Assess themselves in September then again at the end of a unit/term using solo taxonomy.
I created 48 slides of various recipes that i use for KS3 and KS4 Food Technology. Students are able to see pictures of the ingredients and equipment. Each step of the recipe is accompanied with a practical pic. Students can tick off what they have completed and teachers can write a message in the teacher comment section.
Each recipe includes the learning intention. Opportunity for the student to write what equipment they think they will need
I tend to write 'with support', 'with guidance' or 'independent'
Very good for SEN students or younger years (KS2)
Recipes include omelette, falafel, strawberry crown, pizza muffin etc.
Can be used for year 7 - year 11. i have used it with year 8,9, 10 and 11.
There are informative slides introducing pupils to nutrition and diet throughout life based on the GCSE Home Economics.
There are slides of images so you can play the 'Who am I' game, where a pupils with back facing the whiteboard, has to guess what they are. While the class describes the image. Also includes peer assessment tasks linked to the Eatwell guide.
There are various tasks that pupils can do for 2/3 lessons.
I created this assessment for a year 9 SEN class that were learning about how food choices can be affected.
This assessment is self - assessed using the solo taxonomy. This could definitely be used with younger years

KS3 ICT Lesson - Introductory lesson to creating hoax magazine cover. This is the first lesson to getting pupils to spot the differences in pictures and create their own spot the difference.
Skills learnt in this lesson can be used as the foundation in preparing pupils in manipulating images for their assessed task of creating a hoax magazine cover.

Based on learning aim a assignment brief. I have created an assignment for a low ability/Sen group. Assignment is based on the pass criteria but the marking criteria is on the first slide for pupils to assess where they are and how to improve.
You may screenshot user interfaces for the pupils to annotate or allow the pupils to look for their own user interfaces.
I created an outline of what I will be teaching each week (one lesson a week) for year 7 - 11. There is a weekly outline for autumn, spring and summer term.
Documents is saved In Excel it states all the half terms, topics for each term, when I plan to assess pupils work and Food Tech related school trips. This is being used in a SEN secondary school that have FT once a week.

I have created 54 pages of PPT including tasks, class activities, pair and group activities for level 1 BTEC Tech Award in Digital Information Technology.
