A set of resources to develop knowledge and understanding of Anglo-Saxon era British history with a focus on developing chronological knowledge and understanding.
There is a power point presentation with a range of significant developments/events from 449AD to 1066 AD - run through version gives an indication of the passage of time.
Three related activities develop this approach with tasks using the same developments/events -for matching pairs, ‘dominoes’ and identifying time periods.
In addition there is a set of five word searches and quizzes combined to further develop knowledge and understanding of these events/developments (in various versions with differing levels of support).
