This is an adapted version of the revision lesson I gave to my top set class for the AQA spec (Chemical Changes). The fill-in-the blanks sheet is really helpful for pace and understanding as it's broken down. Try to demo sodium chloride! AQA Rate and Extent of Chemical Change topic. Can be broken down into more than one lesson with practicals added (which is what I did).

Differentiated holiday price lists used with a higher ability KS3 SEND group. Prices up to £2, £10, and £20, with two differentiated extension sheets. We used play money to make it more fun (they were trying to find change).

This was a three-way differentiated time activity I carried out with KS3 SEND students. There are different times: one is 15-min intervals, two is 5-min intervals, three is 1-min intervals and 24-hour clock. One and two also have a digital clock to convert to.

Used with KS3 SEND pupils to make a leaflet about a safari trip. Clicker sheets were used as prompts.

Differentiated price list for a pizza restaurant made for KS3 SEND pupils. We asked them to add up either 2 things (on the lower priced menu) or 3 things (on the higher priced menu) using column addition.

Used with KS3 SEND pupils in 'Time' (PSRN). Differentiated sheet of times. Available as PDF and PPT.

Used with lower ability KS3 SEND pupils as a reading task. The fact files were adapted from another resource (additions were made). Cut out the question cards (highlighted word was for student who can only sound letters rather than sounds). They then match them to the posters and fact files.
