Some of our students had, and have, struggled to adapt to the expectations of literature essays at A Level. They requested a similar formulaic approach to help them begin and have found this system useful in the same way that they did ‘PETER’ at GCSE. This approach can be limiting for capable students but certainly allows those who struggle to start a way to address each individual AO.
