A versatile resource - has been used as a recap activity and also as a research task at the start of a Year 7 Christianity unit with students who had little prior knowledge of Christianity. Would be a good homework activity or ‘do now’ starter activity at Year 6/7.

I use this by having students get into groups of 4. They then rotate the questions around the group and have 2-3 minutes to answer each question. The first person writes their response at the bottom and then folds over their response, the second person then writes their response above but cannot see the previous response. After the students have responded to all questions, they can compare and contrast their responses in their group. Suitable for GCSE and A-Level Philosophy and Ethics students.

I have used this in conjunction with an excerpt from the movie ‘The Prince of Egypt’ which shows the plagues affecting the people of Egypt but it would work just as well after reading the story together from the Bible.
