Included in this packet are Father’s Day cards, Father’s Day bookmarks, two writing craftivities, two Father’s Day coloring crafts, and a Father’s Day pudding parfait recipe. For the Father’s Day cards, cut out the cards; let the children color them; then let the children color a picture or paint hand prints on the front. I have provided three different options for cards to include children who may not have a father or father figure; father’s day can be for any special people in our lives! Cut out the bookmarks. Some book marks are colored, and some book marks are not so that the children can color them. For one of the craftivity, ask the children to complete the sentence. This Easter Math packet includes two number line puzzles, Easter patterns, and Easter egg number puzzles. One number line puzzle is numbered 1 – 10; the other number line puzzle is numbered 11 – 20. Laminate; cut along the vertical lines; allow the children to put the puzzles together by lining up the numbers in correct numerical order. For the Easter patterns, cut out the cut and paste patterns. Give the cut-out patterns to the children along with the pattern page. Allow the children to paste the correct missing pattern. For the Easter egg number puzzles, laminate the pages; cut out the puzzle pieces; allow the children to put the puzzles together. The puzzles contain a number word and the amount of Easter eggs matching that number on one side; the puzzles also contain a number and dice with the correct number of dots. This provides children with many opportunities to count and learn numbers. This activity comes in both colorful and black and white options. Pick from either colorful or black and white options. Make copies of the apples, pumpkins, and seeds for your students. Make an extra copy of the apples, pumpkins, and seeds; make a copy of the part, part, whole apple and the part, part, whole pumpkin. Laminate your copies. First, use either the part, part whole apple or the part, part whole pumpkin during group work. Explain parts and whole. Use a dry erase marker to write numbers that add up to 5 on the parts circles. After your students understand the concept of parts and whole and adding to make 5, give them either an apple or a pumpkin paper with number 5 number bonds. Also, give them either apple or pumpkin seeds. The seeds have numbers 0 to 5. Allow your students to cut the seeds and paste them on the empty circles of the number bonds to create 5. Help any child who needs help cutting out the seeds. Next, cut out the apples, pumpkins, and seeds that you laminated. Stick Velcro on the empty circles of the number bonds. Stick Velcro on the back of the seeds. Place either the apple or pumpkins and the seeds in your math center. Allow children to Velcro the seeds to the empty circles of the number bonds on the pumpkin or apple to create 5 on their own. This Valentine’s Day Maths packet includes Valentine cupcake roll a number, four number line puzzles, and Valentine’s Day chocolate kisses memory matching game. These are perfect play based learning activities to add to your Valentine’s Day themed math center. Children will learn number recognition, learn colour recognition, and practice fine motor skills. For Valentine’s cupcake roll a number, make a copy for each student. You may laminate to use again if you wish. Allow children to roll dice. Allow children to count the dots on their dice. Allow children to decorate their Valentine cupcake with candies. They may use real candies such as conversation hearts, or they may use foam stickers or mini erasers to decorate. Encourage the children to put the same number of candies on their cupcake as the number that they rolled. Valentine’s Day number line puzzles come in Valentine owls and Valentine teddy bear. Both owl and teddy bear puzzles come with numbers 1 to 10 and numbers 11 to 20. Laminate the puzzles. Cut the puzzles down the lines. Place whichever puzzle you wish to use in your maths station. Allow children to put the puzzle together by lining up the numbers in correct numerical order. For Valentine’s Day chocolate kisses memory matching game, allow children to match the chocolate kisses by color. Make two copies of each chocolate kiss card. Laminate and cut out the cards. The chocolate kisses come in blue, green, orange, yellow, pink, purple, red, grey, and white. Encourage children to make matches by finding kisses that are the same colour. This resource has eight pages worth of activities. Most of the cards and puzzles are two to a page.

This bear themed activity packet includes five activities. The included activities are B is for bear, bear paw prints, what do bears eat? activity, bear hole punch/lacing card activity, and bear cave gross motor activity idea. Your students are sure to have fun as they learn about bears through these play based, engaging activities! Print several pages of the bear paws. Laminate and use in a follow the bear prints game. As an extension, you could do hand print art. When their hand prints are dry, allow the children to examine the bear paw print cut outs alongside their own hand prints. Ask the children to compare and contrast the bear paw prints to their hand prints. A black and white ink saving option is included for bear paws. For the activity what bears eat, laminate the cut-outs. Put Velcro on a poster board, and put Velcro on the cut-outs. Ask the children to Velcro to the boards only the foods that bears eat. Make as many copies of B b is for bear, and place the pages in your literacy center. You may wish to laminate B b is for bear page and give children dry erase markers. The children can use dry erase markers to write letter B b, or they can copy the letter on other paper. Both colored and black and white versions are included for B b is for bear. For fine motor hole punch, let the children use a hole puncher on the circles around the bear. After using the hole puncher, the children can use string for lacing. And for gross motor bear cave activity, set up a bear cave area for children to crawl in and out. There are seven pages of activities included.

Allow children to learn about various things associated with summer, and allow them to learn about colors through this Bingo game! Bingo games are wonderful for introducing children to math skills such as finding matches, for improving critical thinking skills, for improving concentration skills, and just for making learning into a fun game! This is a great addition to your summer math center, and it is especially perfect to play during groups. I hope your students enjoy playing Summer Fun Bingo. Laminate cards. Cut out the calling cards. Give children the bingo cards. Call out the pictures and colors. Let children use bingo daubers, washable dot markers, dry erase markers, or math counters to mark their squares. Play as a typical game of bingo. If washable markers are used, just wipe the laminated cards clean to be used again. Game includes six Bingo cards plus calling cards.

Laminate the pages, and cut the out the cards. These cards can be used in a daily schedule pocket chart, or they can be used on poster board with Velcro or on a bulletin board focus wall. Display the pocket chart cards next to your written daily preschool schedule; display your schedule in whichever way is most convenient for you. Also, display the cards in whatever order you want your daily schedule to be. I have provided header cards as well as rectangle cards. The header cards come in two different size options; one option is slightly bigger than the other option. Both options of header cards should fit in most pocket charts. The rectangle option should also fit well in most pocket charts. I have also provided an editable written schedule. Type out your detailed schedule; display your written schedule next to the schedule cards. After you have your schedule displayed in a way that works for you, you will be ready to teach your students how to follow the daily schedule. Early learners do well when they have a schedule and when they know what is expected of them. The pictures on the schedule cards will help your early learners understand the schedule. This resource is a zip file. The cards are protected PDF format, but the written daily schedule comes in both Word and PDF format that are both completely editable. The written daily schedule is a grid of three columns and twelve rows with plenty of room for you to type your schedule with details. There are eleven cards in three different options.

Your students are sure to enjoy this hands on booklet. Colourful Autumn Leaves Book will help your students learn all about the different colours of autumn leaves. Read to students for a group activity, and have them follow the hands on directions as you read; you may also place the booklets in your reading center for children to look through after the group reading activity is finished. This booklet is UK spelling version. To prep, fold the pages in half, cut the pages into two parts and trim if necessary. Next, staple the corner of the pages. When putting the book together, the page with words goes first, and the page with the picture that matches the word goes next. After the books are prepped, give the books to the children and read along with them. The booklet includes the sight words in, the, some, are. You may allow the children to circle, highlight, or underline the sight words as they read along with you. You may also allow the children to dot the sight words with dot markers or place a sticker under the sight words. Choose whichever way works best for you and your students! The booklet also has colour words. The colour words are typed in the correct colour. There is a “My favourite autumn colour is___.” page. Ask the children what their favourite autumn color is; write their answer on the line provided. Older children may be able to write their answer without help. There is a page included that allows the children to colour autumn leaves. Lastly, there is a “My autumn picture” page. Let the children draw their own autumn picture.

This math and literacy packet includes complete the patterns, two number puzzles (1-5 and 6-10), Hh is for hat, dot letters, and “My wish is…” writing project. All the activities are St. Patrick’s Day themed. For dot letters, write a letter on the paper provided; give the children dot markers or paint and Q-tips; finally, allow the children to find the matches, and to dot the matches. Dot letters includes a page of blank shamrocks; add your own letters to the shamrocks! “My wish is…” literacy activity can be done as a craftivity, or it can be done just as a writing project. Make copies, and cut out the literacy activity paper below. Ask the children what their wish is; write what they say on the paper. Older children can be encouraged to color the color words the correct color; don’t worry too much about which colors younger preschoolers use. The main goals for younger preschoolers are that they are being introduced to colors, and that they are handling a book.
