"Burfo's bumper bargain bonanza..."

Average Rating4.14
(based on 15 reviews)

As a" jobbing" teacher of English I KNOW what my students need to improve their literacy skills, comprehend what is required of them as regards reading criteria and what will inspire them to write to describe, argue or to help forge a narrative...and this knowledge is distilled into my resources! The photo-slides, model paragraphs, sentence stems, along with planning ideas, all compliment each other and as a jobbing teacher of English I can return to the resources time and time again...

Take your students through the presentation and with the aid of photographic inspirations, model stories, suggestions, discussion points and extension work your students can access - quite easily - their inner author. They become addictive...so be careful. Why not use the task for homework and create a display in your room? "Yes, yes you can illustrate them!" Author owns the copyright to all images.

Get them describing a situation they will understand and appreciate. Without wishing to generalize I have a group of lads that are going to love this...perhaps employ over a series of lessons? To include starters, oral work, discussion points, photographic images, plenty of model paragraphs and of course success criteria (that fulfils GCSE requirements). Describe your school, favourite meal and a trip to the supermarket. Also included a presentation aimed at capturing a sunset for the more poetic. All images are authors own.
