"Burfo's bumper bargain bonanza..."

Average Rating4.14
(based on 15 reviews)

As a" jobbing" teacher of English I KNOW what my students need to improve their literacy skills, comprehend what is required of them as regards reading criteria and what will inspire them to write to describe, argue or to help forge a narrative...and this knowledge is distilled into my resources! The photo-slides, model paragraphs, sentence stems, along with planning ideas, all compliment each other and as a jobbing teacher of English I can return to the resources time and time again...

Power point aimed primarily at my reluctant writers who struggled with the "impact" of language. Encouraged by this presentation - incorporating ideas, starter, main task, success criteria and model paragraphs - my students were able construct a piece of writing that contained the elements discussed and started to believe that they too could write with an audience in mind. Presentation has been used successfully with both Ks3 and less able Ks4.

Powerpoint that allows your students to write a convincing and believable character..."showing not telling! " To include, discussion points, starters, model characters (both good and bad to prove my point) and success criteria. Make their creative writing a little more convincing with a an idea or two about character writing. Obviously you can return to the presentation again and again...as I have! "Staring into the screen and blinking myopically at the characters on the shimmering tablet of light, his slumped shoulders and constant sighing hinted at the inner turmoil..."
