Students will use self marking worksheets to learn to create their own formulae and understand why they should use formulae. Included are tasks that cater for the lower ability, middle ability and higher ability students. Learning pitstops and challenges are provided to check students understanding and learning of the spreadsheet skills needed for the exam. The functions and formula that students will learn include, SUM, AVERAGE, MAX, IF, COUNTIF, =TODAY(), =NOW(), sorting data, absolute cell referencing, * multiplication, + addition and, autosum. Students will have the chance to practise all the skills using the practice skills 1 and 2.xls included in the resources. These are self marking (they have been adapted to suit the needs of my students) so students can work independently. This allows me to provide small group intervention sessions if necessary for the skills that the students struggle with.

Covered is the content for the topic 'work plans' for the R081 exam for L1/2 in Creative iMedia. Students need to know the purpose, use and content of work plans. This lesson is a revision lesson with a separate exam question with answers to check students understanding.

I found these images and created a noise monitoring presentation for my class. The visual aids mean that I don't need to raise my voice when the class are making too much noise. I display the first slide and the students know that they need to be quiet.

The practice skills 1 and 2.xls are self marking worksheets and allow students top practice some spreadsheet skills.

Students create a presentation and include VB code for various types of quiz question responses. Stretch and challenge activities as well as learning pit stops are included.

The students will complete the presentation and do some peer assessment and self assessment on their work. Improvements should then be made.

Fractions and equivalent fractions. This has been created to be printed out and laminated. The students can then write in the space at the bottom of the sheet with white board pens to work out answers to questions while using the prompts on the sheet.

This is lesson 1 in a series of lessons that will allow students to create a PowerPoint with consistent house style, using master slides, etc. (ICT) All 6 lessons in the scheme will teach the students how they can use Visual Basic code to make the presentation interactive and more engaging for an audience. (CS)

This resource contains a comprehensive help sheet which allows students to follow it step-by-step to create an interactive quiz in PowerPoint with Visual Basic. It also has learning pit stops and challenges along the way to stretch students of all abilities.

This resource has been created for teachers to record individual student test scores. The weak areas and strengths are shown straight away along with test score, percentages and approximate equivalent grades. I filter each student in turn and use the snipping tool to copy their record onto a Word document. I can then show them the test question topics that they are weakest on and they will focus on additional revision in these areas.
