This lesson includes a 20 minute video which pupils will use to collect notes. The notes can then be used for you to create a homework activity if you feel they need further challenge. Each of my lessons are designed to be dyslexia friendly with comic sans, boxed writing and pastel colours to help pupils with SEN see the board easier. Lesson 3 introducing the case study city of Rio. Lesson includes embedded video in powerpoint and exam questions. Lessons require the use of the blue AQA Oxford books. Square boxes in the corner represent how long you should ideally spend on each slide (for a 1 hour lesson). Some slides include an embedded timer.

Lesson focuses on the short and long term effects of cannabis. Plenty of room for heated classroom discussion. Good opportunity to lead on to the fact many people who smoke spliffs often end up smoking full time due to added tobacco to it. Gives a good chance for those 'cool' kids who smoke weed but are against smoking cigs. Chances are they'll end up smoking ciggies when their older!

Majority of the credit goes to J. Wright and S. Waugh who wrote the example questions and answers in the WJEC textbook. Point of this booklet is to give to pupils so they understand how to answer each question for unit 1 and 2 in their history exams. All comments are welcome.
