I currently teach “World Religions” (Advanced College Credit- University of Missouri-Saint Louis), "Introduction to Theology" (1818 College Credit- St. Louis University) and "Jewish-Christian Relations in Light of the Holocaust” courses at Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis, Missouri. I also teach online at Regis University's College of Contemporary Liberal Studies.

"The Hangman" by Maurice Ogden is a poem which illustrates and describes how bystanders often facilitate the commission of great evil. An attack on the marginalized and powerless in our society is in fact an attack upon us all. The silence of bystander did not keep him safe. Our own silence will not keep us safe.

Throughout the past two thousand years, the marginalization and hatred of the Jewish people has been fueled by the hateful depiction of Jews in art. The propagandistic and obscene use of art in this way has led to the murders of millions of Jews, and indeed, continues to threaten Jews around the world even today.
