This is a visual reading list highlighting a total of forty eight fiction books that relate to topic areas actually covered on the Year 7 and 8 Geography curriculum. Books are age-appropriate (other than those few marked as silver, which are categorized as young adult books) and showcase predominantly newer books, published within the past couple of years or so in order to excite students and encourage reading for pleasure. The AR Level indicates the Accelerated Reader level that the book is placed at. These two A3 posters can be photocopied and placed up in Geography classrooms or around school in order to encourage further discussion between subject teacher and students.
