18 worksheets to enhance lessons on Plants and Photosynthesis. Originally created for pupils in a PRU they worked well and kept the pupils on task and helped them to consolidate their learning. The worksheets cover the important aspects of the KS3 2014 Curriculum and can also be used for revision for KS4.

This cross curricular theme of 36 pages on Horses and War horses was designed for Keystage 3 pupils in a PRU in Essex. I used it when an HMI inspector observed the unit over a period of time and she commended it highly because of the variety of literacy opportunities and the way that the boys and girls in the unit related to the theme and were fully engaged in the work. Topics covered: GRAMMAR, SPELLING, HISTORY, CREATIVE WRITING, and VOCABULARY BUILDING.

This workbook of 18 pages covers the 2014 curriculum for keystage 3 and presents a set of resources to help pupils to achieve their learning objectives as follows: 1. to understand what food I need to maintain a healthy body. 2. to understand which foods belong to each main group: carbohydrates, proteins and fats. 3. to understand the consequences of an imbalanced diet. 4. to be able to plan a healthy, balanced meal. 5. to become acquainted with the vocabulary pertaining to a healthy lifestyle and diet. The resource was originally designed for secondary PRU pupils who enjoyed working through the resource and were fully engaged in the topic.
