He has worked well during practical lessons and has shown skill progression in all areas. Pupil A has excelled in cricket. It would be great to see him continue this outside of school. He has continued to play for the school sports teams and shown pride in representing the school. Pupil A has been a pleasure to teach so far this year and with continuation of his positive attitude and work ethic he should excel.

Football Positions TGfU

Pupil cards to help them understand where they should be when playing different positions in football. This is a great resource for helping younger pupils understand positioning and limit ‘chasing the ball’. I usually encourage my pupils to swap cards after each game to give everyone the chance to experience different positions. Pupils can also use this resource to organise simple tactics. For example in a 7-a-side game they could choose to overload the centre midfield with 3 players OR put more players in defense when they know they are about to play a tough attacking team.

Pupils progress is then highlighted to clearly indicate progress: *Red- 1 or more levels below target level *Orange- Up to 0.5 levels below target level *Green- Up to 0.5 levels above target level *Purple- 1 or more levels above target
