I have been a resource creator on the TES for well over 8 years and was nominated for a TES Resource Creator of the Year Award a few years ago. Most of my resources are based on the curriculum areas of Science and/or Religious Education. There are also a few assemblies and the occasional maths resource as well. I hope that these prove useful and will most importantly save you time.

Resources for KS3 Electricity Unit

(40)
This resource contains two different sheets for use whilst teachig electricity. The first sheet gives pupils a series of different circuits and ammeter readings where pupils have to work out the missing values. The second is an 8 A5 page booklet which is designed for pupils to work their way through independently and covers the use of circuit symbols, drawing circuits and basic ammeter and voltmeter readings. I hope that you find this resource useful and that you will leave feedback if you are able to use it.

Set of Worksheets on Dissolving

(13)
This is a set of three worksheets on the topic of dissolving. The first sheet gives three basic experiments that pupils can do to prove the three fundamental things about dissolving ~ conservation of mass, how to speed up dissolving and saturation of solutions. The keytwrms sheet is a simple diagram that uses the words solute, solvent and solution. How dissolving happens is a story board for pupils to illustrate the dissolving process at particle level. Pupils also should rewrite the sentences using keyterms.

(11)
This worksheet asks pupils to label the different parts of a microscope and then match up the keyterms with their function. This is a good resource to use alongside the first lesson on microscopes. I hope that you find this resource useful and that you will leave feedback if you are able to use it.
Weight and Mass on different planets

Weight and Mass on different planets

(10)
This is a worksheet based task that teaches pupils the different between weight and mass. Pupils start by working out their mass on Earth by using scales (this needs to be in kg). To find their weight (in Newtons), pupils multiply their mass by 10. Mass does not change on different planets and so they can put the same number of kg by every planet. To find out their weight (dependent on the gravity of the planet) pupils multiply their weight by the decimal fraction by each planet. This is a really good activity to include maths in a science context. Hope that it is useful.
Food Nutrients and Investigation Worksheet

Food Nutrients and Investigation Worksheet

(6)
The worksheet asks pupils to find out which foods contain the different nutrient groups and what they are used for in the human body. The investigation is based around a medical company needing to find out what nutrients a range of foods contain so that they can advise some patients on which foods are safe for them to eat. Pupils will need to use the food tests that they learn about during this topic to complete this investigation (Note: you will need to fill in the food that you want to use on the letter). I hope that the resource is useful.
World Biome Climate Graphs

World Biome Climate Graphs

(22)
This worksheet contains six different climate graphs taken from around the world. Pupils will need to match the climate graph with the the six suggested biomes/places. Shapes Statements Maths Starter Cards

(8)
These are a selection of maths cards which are all about different 2D shapes. Each card has a number of statements on it and pupils need to decide whether they are true or false. Makes a really good starter to develop talking skills with pupils. Getting pupils to explain why some statements are incorrect also improves their reasoning skills and helps with test questions requiring a written element. I hope that you will find this resource useful and leave feedback if you are able to use it.
Worksheets on Chemical Formula Analysis

Worksheets on Chemical Formula Analysis

(9)
This is a worksheet that gives pupils a series of chemical compound formulae and asks pupils to work out the number of atoms, the number of elements and the names of elements in each of the formula given. There is an answer sheet provided. The second worksheet is designed to illustrate the change in atomic arrangement during a chemical reaction (please note that the atoms are not correctly arranged on this sheet as it is designed to reinforce the basic number of atoms in a formulae). The second sheet will introduce pupils to the idea of word equations and chemical reactions.

Sir Isaac Newton Worksheet and Pictures

(3)
This worksheet gives the basic information about the scientist Sir Isaac Newton and his 'discovery&' of the force of gravity. The worksheet has some simple questions for pupils to answer and the pictures are for sticking alongside the work in pupils book. Resources on Forcemeters

(3)
The first resource is a simple worksheet that starts by asking pupils to label a forcemeter. The second part is a recording grid for pupils to write down how much different objects weight when they are hung on a forcemeter. The homework sheet gives pupils the task of designing a forcemeter of their own that will be tested using a range of weights to see if they have calibrated their instrument carefully. I hope that you find this resource useful and that you will leave feedback if you are able to use it.
