Boys’ Puberty - What Changes Can We Expect?
A brand new one-two hour lesson suitable for upper KS2 / KS3 (Year 7), all about puberty and the changes boys typically go through.
The pack introduces the physical and emotional changes that boys usually encounter, although it emphasises the fact that what’s normal for one person can be different to the next.
The lesson includes and hour-long PowerPoint, a bespoke EC Video clip with questions, alongside a range of engaging but also age-appropriate activities.
It is fully editable, engaging and very easy to follow.
NEW PSHE / CAREERS lesson all about the importance of attendance and punctuality throughout both school and later in life. Students will investigate the link between attendance and performance at school as well as how their attendance records can impact on their future careers/further education ambitions. They will explore what top employers such as Google have to say about attendance and punctuality and see how an employee’s reliability is an even more important quality to many employers than top exam results.
There are case studies to examine, clip tasks to complete, creative and analysis tasks and much more. This lesson lasts one hour and can be used with either KS3 or KS4. Everything is editable and ready to go.

This fully-resourced, hour long PSHE lesson is all about living a healthy lifestyle with a specific focus on the four main types of physical exercise: endurance, strength, balance and flexibility. It is best suited to upper KS2 (Year 6) but could be used with younger or older year groups including lower KS3. Created for the new PSHE 2020 Statutory Guidelines and as part of the EC Publishing Complete KS2 PSHE Package.

Caffeine and Energy Drinks Lesson
This 1-hour, fully resourced PSHE lesson is suitable for upper KS2 or lower KS3. It investigates the risks associated with consuming caffeinated energy drinks as well as looking at the harmful effects of consuming too many ‘free sugars’.
The students will begin the lesson by reflecting on the events that swept the nation when the Prime product line was first released. We will discuss the reasons why some schools felt the need to ban the drink before delving into the health risks associated with excessive caffeine consumption.
The students will look at the caffeine and sugar content of a variety of drinks, reflecting on their safety, suitability for young people, as well as the moral question of whether it is right to market these products to kids and young people.
The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging, well-differentiated, and fun activities. It is designed to be ‘no-prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.

British Values Assembly. Suitable for use with either KS2 or KS3, this fun, light-hearted assembly is perfect for introducing, or reinforcing your student’s knowledge of all five British values.
In this assembly, King Charles III presents British values and their importance to a less-than-interested student, Loudmouth Lewis, in an attempt to win him over.
The PowerPoint includes embedded clips, audio tracks, and surprise animations to keep your audience engaged. It is humorous, informative, and very engaging. The assembly lasts about up to 20 minutes if all the clips are watched. The PowerPoint is also fully editable with the exception of the background image. We advise watching the slideshow in full before showing it to your students, so you know how long to spend on each slide.

Positive Male Role Models - Addressing Harmful Influences and Gender Stereotypes. In this lesson, students will explore the positive qualities and characteristics to consider when choosing a role model to emulate or be influenced by.
Created to counter the harmful views propagated by online influencers such as Andrew Tate, this lesson empowers children to become critical consumers of information, rather than accepting online hearsay as fact. Intended as a gentle precursor to secondary school topics of misogyny and toxic masculinity, this lesson reminds students of their previous learning on gender stereotypes and applies this knowledge to new scenarios related to harmful gender stereotypes.
While this lesson does not explicitly name Andrew Tate, we will apply our critical thinking skills to an age-appropriate selection of Tate’s quotes without crediting him as the influencer (please note that we have been careful to select examples that include no sexual references or violence). This lesson is suitable for students in UKS2 (Year 6) or possibly LKS3 students in Year 7.

The editable resource pack includes a detailed PowerPoint with accompanying worksheets and follows a wanna-be fashion influencer called Estelle, as she navigates the ups and downs of her social media feed. Students will learn why we naturally crave validation and how social media gives us a false sense of popularity, friendship and self-worth. They will explore we can never really tell how successful or unsuccessful people really are behind their phones. Created for KS4 but could be used with KS3.
There are a variety of tasks, from creative to literacy, to clip and analysis. Everything is editable and ready to go.
