Play script World War II Evacuees
Here is a 6 page play script set during WWII. There are 21 parts in the play, some can be combined others can be split where needed.
The story begins in a small rural village in Britain, where the parishioners must decide whether or not to take in evacuees coming from the city.
There are plenty of learning opportunities with this script and lots of key WWII vocabulary for the children to learn.
Time Task Cards
This resource contains 30 differentiated questions based on time. Level 1 is very basic questions; where the children need to find the difference in time but not crossing over to the next hour. There are 5 questions in each level and there are 6 levels. Level 6 is very challenging, children need to combine their understanding of time with their other mathematical skills in order to find the answers. The resource would be suited for Years 4-6.
It is saved as a pdf. One file has one card per page and the other file has 6 cards per page.

This resource allows students to practice fractions; specifically halves, quarters and eights. It includes 9 differentiated worksheets.
Each worksheet has stars on the bottom left side of the page to indicate the level of difficulty. There are 3 levels of difficulty, with the most challenging set having 3 stars.
The first worksheet requires students to identify what fraction of the shape is shaded.
The next sheet asks them to shade the amount indicated as a fraction below the shape.
The final sheet requires students to solve problems involving fractions.

7 Drama Key Skills flash cards
These cute little flashcards are usually hanging around my room. At the end of every lessons students move to the skill they felt most confident with in the lesson and then the skill they feel they want to work on in the next lesson. The skills are listening, speaking, motivation, confidence, cooperation, organisation, responsibility.
An exercise to review the class rules
This is an exercise I gave students if they forgot some of the rules of the Drama class. It includes a comprehension outlining the rules, questions and a composition based on what they have learned from the exercise and how they plan to use it to move forward. There is a question sheet for junior primary and senior primary.
An end of year reflections exercise
This reflection was given to the students in the last lesson of the year. It was an opportunity to reflect on all they learned, the skills they improved, the games they enjoyed and also allowed them to focus on their targets for the next year. There are two sheets, one with questions and one for them to create a drawing showing their favourite activity.

Viking Math Quest- This Viking Quest is designed to be a cross-curricular link between humanities and maths. There are 30 word problems for the students to solve, covering addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. There are 3 rounds of questions which they must solve. Once they solve the questions they are given clues written in runes. They must solve these clues in order to stop a Viking attack on the Anglo-Saxons. All answers are provided as well as teacher instructions. Children can work independently or as part of a group.

What better way to practice times tables than with a game of BINGO!
This resource helps students practice the 2, 5 and 10 times tables. The bingo cards are 4 squares X 4 squares with one free space in each. The cards are saved as a PDF with two cards per page.
There are enough cards for 30 students to play.
There is also a checklist for teachers so you know which numbers you have already called.
I recommend that the cards are printed, cut and laminated so they can be used multiple times. Students can use a board marker on the lamination film.

Suffix -tion and -sion
This product is designed to help children learn the suffixes -tion and -sion. It includes a presentation and 3 different worksheets.
The presentation explains what a suffix is and also explains what -tion and -sion means when used as suffixes. There are differentiated activities included in the presentation. Activities include, matching the word to the meaning, dictionary work and writing sentences. There is also a page which explains the spelling rules for the suffixes.
Two of the activity sheets are “complete the sentence” activities with 10 sentences on each sheet. Answer sheets are provided to make the teacher’s life a little easier.
The last activity sheet is an assessment of the suffixes -tion and -sion. It contains two exercises. The first, requires children to find a suitable word for the meaning given. The second exercise asks students to write the correct ending to the root word in order to complete the sentence.

Christmas Math Mystery
This is a fun filled resource that will have your class excited to do math! Santa’s most loved Reindeer, Rudolf, has been kidnapped! Your students must solve the math questions in order to find clues to who committed the crime. All answers are included for teachers.
There are 5 pages of clues.
Clue 1 - Area of rectangles
Clue 2 - Place Value
Clue 3 - Addition and subtraction
Clue 4 - Multiplication
Clue 5 - Division
Once students have solved the math mystery, they are given a writing exercise. There are two options. They can either write a newspaper article about the arrest of the kidnapper and return of Rudolf; or write a story outlining how they got Rudolf back!
