I created this resource to help my students understand what they were being asked in Pearson's Functional Skills L2 reading exam. The pack concentrates on questions 2, 7, 8 and 10. This resource covers: meaning and context, language and presentation, identifying key points and comparing texts using quotes. Although it is structured to support the Pearson exam, it could be used to revise for FS L2 reading for any exam board.

This is a quick Bingo starter activity. There are 10 bingo cards included. The teacher reads a clue (using the ones provided or make them up yourself) and the students tick them off as they identify the term from the definition. By changing the clues, these can be used multiple times to reinforce common literary terms.
