The Events of 1066

(0)
A lesson adapted using an activity from "Thinking History" where students act out the events of 1066. With the use of props and a bit of creative flair it can make for a really engaging lesson and is one of those activities that students talk about for a long time. The role briefs should be handed out prior to starting the activity and a general idea of who was who should be established. The teacher guide gives a clear account of the events of 1066, but it is probably worth reading up on what happened to add little embellishments along the way.
