Coronavirus Lesson

updated to reflect recent statistics and mapping Here i have made a lesson from 60-75 minutes of length on the recent coronavirus pandemic. The lesson incorporates extended reading, literacy and consolidation with questioning. The lesson then goes onto an enquiry based stakeholder activity. As you read through the article you need to work through the powerpoint when you reach the bold words in the text. This allows students to visualise the text and difficult vocabulary or place/locational knowledge. Numbers on the article allow for students to follow the article. Lesson and Article included in price.

The lesson has a wide variety of tasks and incorporates both impacts (primary and secondary) and weather and climate, with a focus on extreme weather throughout. As you read through the article (students read two sentences each) there are images to bring the article alive and elicit discussion.
