French Connect 4 Game - Avoir Expressions This is a fun, quick, and easy way to have your students review avoir in the present tense with common expressions. In order to win, students connect four boxes by filling them in with the conjugations of avoir and the expressions listed at the bottom of the game board (see the expressions used below). Present tense French DRE Verbs - Primary French conjugation chains - Cut and paste This literacy center or independent work activity for primary core French or primary French immersion is a fun, hands-on way for your students to practice conjugating 9 different regular French DRE verbs in the present tense. Each verb page has ten strips to cut out. The first one is for the student’s name, and the following nine strips are for conjugating JE - TU - IL - ELLE - ON - NOUS - VOUS - ILS - ELLES. Students begin by filling in the blanks to add the correct present tense endings. The number of letters needed for the endings is indicated by the number of blanks provided to help students while learning or reviewing conjugations.
