This is a photo step by step guide with examples and prompt questions of how to complete the AQA Textiles Coursework for the last 2018 submission (as next year will be the new spec product design).
This is a god send and will make your life a lot easier for this final year. Its very helpful and includes very single written aspect of the coursework to the point the booklet could deliver this side of the course for you if you needed textiles cover work for an absent teacher.
Personally I use it along side teaching the course as a booklet that is kept in the classroom.

Tracker Sheet
The simple projects can be completed as groups, pairs or individually. They are a good project to lead up to the mock controlled assessment task. I asked my students to choose a brief rather than do both, however you can do both one after the other.
A more detailed approach is the MOCK CONTROLLED ASSESSMENT TEMPLATE and HELP BOOK
This is excellent preparation for the actual controlled assessment. It has a detailed blank template to use for the mock controlled assessment and super detailed helpbook which links to each page. *Please note that in the actual controlled assessment students are not allowed this much guidance however it is good preparation.
I have added in some plating technique group practical recipes and links as an additional resource that proved very helpful when leading up to the controlled assessment mock.

When training my NQTs and trainee teachers I always give them this to help them understand how to meet the teaching standards. It is general to all schools and subjects. They are very grateful and say it is a super helpful. I have now successfully trained 14 teachers in my career. All leaving us with a good and outstanding grading.
This is a suitable resources for new/trainee teachers mentors, coaches, staff doing appraisals and linking standards to the appraisal target or observation.

This is coming from an experienced teacher of 10 years. I have been a moderator for the AQA and have had good results for my low - high ability students year after year.
I have uploaded x3 resources.
The first (best) one is the typical exam questions. This is the most useful for all learners. It has colour pictures. It can be used on the board as well as printed in black and white.
The second one is the revision cards. This has more challenging questions but builds up the confidence to develop and in depth knowledge it preparation of those extended writing questions and knowledge overall for all questions.
The third one is RAG sheet for exam topics. This sheet can be used to map the students confidence at the start, middle or end of the revision scheme of work. It really helps when planning how much time you need to spend on each topic which different students or classes.

It includes drawings - templates, pattern application , decoration application, how to label, colour. Lots of detailed examples.
