Leçon 6 To answer questions about a diary continues the Year 3 "learn as you teach" French series which has been especially designed for non-language specialist primary class teachers and HLTAs. The lesson is the sixth lesson in the Year 3 Summer 1 Holidays & Leisure Unit and includes: * A power point presentation with a range of native speaker sound files attached to every item of language with animation designed to support both learners and presenters: Starter: Animated jigsaw piece matching activity reviewing key structures and matching them to appropriate activities; Screens 3-4: Lesson objective and key structures (What are you doing?/What is he/she doing?); Screens 5-6: Presentations covering answering the questions about what activities people are doing; Screen 7: Oral pair work activity with supportive illustrated template asking and answering the question about what they have planned for next week; Plenary - Assessment: Supportive writing template with possible answers asking children to write the answer to three questions about what people are doing on different days; * A lesson plan with screen by screen guidance on how to present the show to pupils including a complete French/English vocabulary for the whole of the Year 3 Holidays & Leisure Unit with grammar notes; * A b/w illustrated worksheet with 3 differentiated tasks that has been directly linked to the main body of the power point show.
