Careers provision map to meet the new statutory guidance from Jan 2018 (GATSBY)

This is a careers strategy that maps out careers provision from Y7-Y13 to help your school become compliant with the new statutory changes for careers launched in January 2018. The roll out of this plan will satisfy all Gatsby standards which outlines best practice in this area. The document is a comprehensive map of provision that can be adapted to any school setting (including one with a sixth form). The document can be edited so that you can include your school branding. The idea is the map is then printed at size A1. I have also included some recruitment documents and the pupil survey.

Pupil Passport: Breaking down barriers to learning (Pupil Premium, disadvantaged, Vulnerable, SEND)

A successful strategy to improve pupil progress should be about identifying individual barriers to learning and then be about providing a bespoke support package to break them down. Our 360 passport does just that and provides Teachers/Senior Leaders with a deep understanding of their targeted pupils. The 360 passport also allows teachers to differentiate for the individual needs of each pupil to rapidly bolster progress. The resource includes: 360 passport template used to break down individual barriers to learning A half termly progress tracker for academic and pastoral measures to identify early slippage. Teaching and learning section External turbulence factors Individual support package Wellbeing score Mentoring templates Questions needed to ask for each section Method of how to roll the strategy out. An example profile to share (fictional data) The passport is completely adaptable so that you can apply your schools branding. Y7 Transition Project and taster session - Drag Racer

This resource is a highly engaging Y7 transition project that can be used for primary taster sessions. It includes a team workbook and pupils are asked to design and build they own wind powered drag car. Pupil then race them at the end of the session. (the cars are blown along the track by a leaf blower)
