Powerful Words Workbook

With this workbook students are guided through the process of creating a piece of writing that is a “powerful” piece of writing. It begins by studying the concept of power. Then students brainstorm topics they are passionate about so they can begin to decide what to write for their “Passion Piece” which is the piece of writing that has an impact on others. Each day, students study a piece of writing and decide whether or not that piece of writing is a powerful piece. Students study poems, quotes, books and stories. (Everything is included except for two books which can be found on youtube or at any library.) Each day, students also start each session with a mindfulness activity to help them learn to use writing as a tool to be a more mindful person. If you are a teacher looking to make some extra money, I would be happy to share how I make $1500 in a week (1 hour per day) using this workbook. I taught this class over Zoom and do it in person. I have done all the hard work for you. You would just need to get this workbook into the hands of students. This workbook could also be used to teach a creative writing unit in a traditional class setting or used by a parent as it is very user friendly. Email me with any questions. lyndseygardner@gmail.com
